Tiger Woods Win Presidents Cup For US
Tiger Woods at his best in team tournament took the Presidents Cup for the sixth time in eight events by beating the International team. He was an inspirational in San Francisco as 19.5-14.5 defeated Greg Norman’s International team. In pervious President Cup appearances, Woods had 13 victories and 11 defeats while on the other hand Ryder Cup record is 10 wins, 13 defeats, and 2 draws.
Woods won all five of his matches as the US triumphed. US are now unbeaten in five Presidents Cup matches on home soil. Open champion Cink beat Australian Adam Scott 4&3 in the second match out before Mahan came from two down after four holes to edge Colombian Camilo Villegas 2&1. In the ninth match, Woods was against Yang the South Korean who had come from two shots behind American to win USPGA championship at Hazeltine. Yang’s victory the first Asian born male ended 
with Woods 100 percent record winning all 14 of his majors when leading into the final round. However, Woods was too strong at Harding Park. Woods said all he knew was he was trying to get his point and he was five up trying to make it six. He added saying he did not look at any board just saw six matches and his aim to extend his own lead. We played great as a team and the captain did some great pairings. His six US tour titles included one BMW championship, US Tour’s Fed Ex Cup playoff series; two runner-finishes in the elite series take the title and 10 million dollar bonus.
