South African Officials Lodged Complaint Against UN
Caster Semenya Athletics star of South Africa was forced to under go a gender test after she won the 800m world title during the recent World Championships. South African government has wedged a complaint on behalf of world champion and the complaint deals with handling of her issues.
Noluthando Mayende-Sibiya South Africa’s minister for women children and people with disabilities was launched a complaint with United Nations. IAAF insisted for the gender test in the midst of fear that she might be able to run as a woman. Later on IAAF insisted with South African to pull out her from their team of Germany, in spite of this SA athletics federation was firm and
claimed Caster has a female. ASA has issued a new statement and enquiry and their first preference is to ensure that Caster Semenya’s professional career is secure. Presently they are concentrating to continue with her participation in athletics. Sebastian Coe, chairperson of London Organizing committee for 2012 Olympic games foremost plan is to check out how many athletes are in the state as Semanya and are asked to stand out from participating. He ensured saying we would never allow this to happen ever again. Later on Coe will discuss this issue with other officials of IAAF and their suggestions will be displayed in the next meeting in November with IAAF council.
