South African Athlete A Hermaphrodite
Caster Semenya, the woman who won 800m gold medal at the Athletics World Championships exposed that she has an inter gender condition. Last month during the championship, 18-year-old Caster was at the centre of gender controversy and was inquire to do the test.
BBC sportsperson uttered it is possible that she has some hermaphroditic or inter-gender condition. IAAF wants the results to look at before talking with Semenya. In South Africa, information has flashed heating reaction they want to sue IAAF over the way Semenya was treated. Australian newspaper stated that Semanya is hermaphrodite. The statement should be treated with caution as they are not an official statements by IAAF stated Nick Davies. He added saying results were receivedĀ from Germany these results needs to be look at along with group of experts and later on we will talk about the issue c
onfidentially with Semenya. IAAF council will meet in Monaco on 20-21 November. Farquhar stated it is a serious issue and athlete need to be informedĀ about the consequences there are three possible outcomes from expert but it does not give her any competitive advantage. IAAF needs to consider the likeliness of athlete.
