Badminton In Full Swing Against Move Of 2012 Olympics



Badminton united with Boxing disagreed with the swap to Wembley Arena for the 2012 London Olympics. England Badminton team uttered the travel time across London travel towards the stadium in the northwest would hinder the performances of the athlete.

Adrian Christy the chief executive of England’s Badminton said their main aim is stay in the Olympic Park or nearby to the park so we are not appreciating the conversation of using Wembley. Badminton England is supporting its international governing body of Badminton World Federation. Boris Johnson mayor of London wants to move badminton and rhythmic gymnastics from planned short-term Wembleyvenue to near the Olympic Park in Stratford to save up 40 million pounds for the construction costs. Boris has startled everyone by saying approximated amount of 2.4 billion pounds has jumped up to 9.3 billion so the  North- Greenwich Arena plan has been discarded. Morris Johnson workplace is donating £1.75 billion for Olympic Budget. Neale Coleman mayor’s Olympics adviser agreed with Morris Johnson.
