All Glory To Del Potro On His Retutrn
Thousands of crowd welcomed US Open champion Juan Martin Del Potro when returning back home to Argentina in Tandil situated 360km of Buenos Aries. He traveled around the street of Tandil on the top of fire engine. Greeted and glanced by around 40,000 people and feted with rock band Queen’s seminal.
He started his career at Club Independiente on his return he halted there. He uttered saying he does not want to cry but instead need to thank each one and was amazed by the reaction of fans in New York as well as in Buenos Aires. In New York Del Potro defeated Roger Federer in five sets finishing off as 40 match unbeaten run and the title of world number
one in Flushing Meadows. He is also the first man apart from Nadal to beat the Swiss star Federer in the finale of Grand Slam tournament. His triumph also opened a place at London’s end-of-season ATP World Tour Finals held in November. Rafael Nadal occupied number two position followed by Murray in third position. Del Potro said there are players much better than him it is not the end of road. He added saying a dream to win the US Open and his most favorite tournament has been accomplished. He portrays his victory as an unbelievable win and his next aim is the World Tour Finals, which is already been qualified. He will be challenging at the eight- man indoor tournament held in London for the second consecutive season from the 22-29 November.
